KhaRabia Rayford 
 KhaRabia Rayford was born in Roanoke, Virginia, raised in Washington, D.C., and attended school in Iowa and Illinois. She has taught theatre through the UCLA Extension, Crossroads and other professional schools. In addition to writing poems, she is a performance artist and founder of the Multi-Cultural Arts Institute. She has created performance pieces for schools entitled "I'm Great and "Black Heroes, Black Stars".
